According to TMZ, the 31-year-old artist, whose real name is Benedict Ihesiba Jr., was admitted to the hospital on Thursday morning (December 12) with a gunshot wound to the head. Authorities responded to a 911 call around 10 a.m. after a neighbor reported hearing gunfire from inside a residence in the Los Angeles area. When officers arrived, they found Maco unresponsive. He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital and rushed into surgery. A firearm was recovered at the scene. While the exact circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear, early reports suggest the injury may have been self-inflicted. Maco’s manager, Poppa Percccc, provided a brief update to TMZ, stating, “He’s still with us, but he desperately needs prayers and support from all his friends, fans, and associates.”
