Wiz Khalifa is gearing up to wear his cowboy boots and take the stage at the 2024 Stagecoach Country Music Festival, an annual country music event. Despite not being the typical country artist, Wiz will be headlining the "Late Night in Palomino" event on Sunday night during the festival, which is scheduled to run from April 26-28, 2024, in Indio, California, known as the home of Coachella. Sources close to the Taylor Gang rapper stated that there was no hesitation in accepting the gig, and he's enthusiastic about bringing his impressive stage show filled with hits and his commanding stage presence to the event. Other performers at the festival will include Jelly Roll and Post Malone. This announcement comes on the heels of Wiz Khalifa's recent appearance at a concert by country music star Morgan Wallen in Pittsburgh, Wiz's hometown. During Wallen's two-night sold-out tour in Pittsburgh on August 31, Wiz Khalifa made a surprise appearance to support Wallen at PNC Park. Khalifa performed his well-known hit and warmly welcomed Wallen to Pittsburgh, embracing him and presenting him with a Terrible Towel, the rally towel associated with the Pittsburgh Steelers, before exiting the stage. Wiz Khalifa is just the latest rapper to show his appreciation for Morgan Wallen. In May, it was revealed that Lil Durk and Wallen had a close friendship, even considering each other as family. They went on a fishing trip together, as shown in photos shared on Wiz Khalifa's Instagram, where they both appeared in camouflage gear, proudly displaying their latest catch from their fishing excursion in Wallen's hometown of Tennessee.
