Killer Mike has confirmed speculations that André 3000, the iconic member of Outkast, is indeed working on a fresh solo album while traveling around the world. During an interview with Sway's Universe on Wednesday (June 21), Killer Mike shed some light on 3 Stacks' upcoming musical project.
"Yeah, I think we're flying out in a couple of weeks to go listen to it," confirmed the rapper from Run The Jewels, responding to Sway's inquiries. Killer Mike even revealed that he has already heard around nine unreleased tracks from André 3000.
"Wow, that's amazing. André 3000 has an album coming," Sway expressed his approval.

André 3000 has yet to release a solo album in his career, with his last studio LP being 2006's Idlewild as part of Outkast.
Killer Mike has maintained a close relationship with his fellow Atlanta hip-hop staple and further confirmed the existence of another collaboration between the two of them. The track features a seven-minute rap by 3 Stacks.
"Killer Mike played me a record one time with him and André, I'm not even joking, this is one of the greatest hip-hop records, just musical records I've ever heard in my life," hyped Charlamagne Tha God during Killer Mike's visit to The Breakfast Club last week. "It's phenomenal. I can't even describe what y'all are doing on this record."
In response, Killer Mike said, "There is another Killer Mike and Dre feature, and all we gotta do is make this album go No. 1 and make the guys from the label really, really happy, and I'll be back next year... It's about 12 minutes — seven and five. Stacks rap longer. When you're handsome, all the girls like you, you get to rap longer."
Furthermore, André 3000 made a guest appearance on Killer Mike's track "Science & Engineers" from the Michael album, where he rhymes alongside Future and Eryn Allen Kane on the ethereal composition.
Michael features contributions from numerous superstar guests, including Curren$y, Mozzy, 2 Chainz, CeeLo Green, 6LACK, EL-P, Blxst, Ty Dolla $ign, Jagged Edge, Kaash Paige, and more.
"This is my come-home moment musically," Mike expressed to Apple Music's Zane Lowe about the album. "It is gospel, it is soul, it is funk, it is hip-hop. And from a moral standpoint, I was taught morality through the Black Southern Christian church, which gave us the civil rights movement, the abolitionist movement, which gave us some of the most beautiful music ever. And I feel like I'm honoring that, and I finally figured out my place."
