JA RULE AGREES JA MORANT HAS BEEN NEGATIVELY INFLUENCED BY HIP HOP

Ja Rule believes that NBA star Ja Morant's recent behavior may have been influenced by hip hop music, but he thinks there's more to it than that. This comes after Chicago Bulls guard Patrick Beverley recently commented on the embattled Memphis Grizzlies star's eight-game suspension for flashing a firearm on Instagram Live earlier this month, saying that hip hop music is a new brand and that it can influence behavior. Ja Rule agrees that hip hop music can be influential, recalling how he adopted certain behaviors after hearing about them through music when he was younger. tmz.com/... Former NBA star Paul Pierce also weighed in, questioning why Morant's actions were being viewed differently than what rappers do fairly regularly. Cam'ron, on the other hand, attributed Morant's mindset to something he calls the "Gary Coleman Syndrome," which is when someone receives a lot of money at a young age and doesn't know how to act. Ja Rule hopes that Morant's entourage can help him choose a better path and that the world gives him the space he needs to course correct. He reminds everyone that we all make mistakes and hopes that Morant keeps grinding on the court and stays away from the streets.
Ja Rule Says Hip Hop's Influencing Ja Morant's Poor Decisions, 'That Ain't The Way'
Patrick Beverley's right -- at least, that's what Ja Rule is saying, telling TMZ Sports he believes Ja Morant is absolutely being poorly influenced by hip hop.
