On Friday (March 10), Nas EBK, a Bronx drill rapper, was arrested in New Jersey and charged with allegedly killing Idressa Siby, a man he had an argument with on February 9 at the intersection of 44th Street and 8th Avenue in Times Square. The argument is said to have escalated with EBK allegedly shooting Siby, who collapsed and later died at Mt. Sinai West. Police claim that Siby was the intended target and that the pair knew each other. Nas EBK has been charged with murder in the second degree but maintains his innocence, stating on Instagram that "ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE ME !!! BE HOME SOON !! FREE DA GUYS !!" This arrest comes just weeks after Nas EBK was charged with terroristic threats and assault for a YouTube prank video filmed at a local grocery store, in which he brandished a "scalpel-style knife" and kicked an employee.
