KODAK BLACK & JUSTIN BIEBER SUED OVER CONCERT AFTER-PARTY SHOOTING
tmz.com/... Kodak Black and singer Justin Bieber are facing a lawsuit in connection to a shooting that occurred at an after-party in Los Angeles last year. The incident took place on February 12, 2022 outside of a restaurant hosting an after-party for Bieber's concert, resulting in Kodak Black being shot in the leg. Mark Schaefer and Adam Rahman, two men who were also shot and severely injured, are now claiming that they were victims of the shooting and that Kodak Black, Justin Bieber, and the restaurant are to blame.
According to the lawsuit, the alleged victims believe that Kodak Black was trying to escalate the situation, leading to the shooting. They also claim that the venue's security was inadequate and that the venue, promoters, and performers should also bear responsibility. The two men are seeking damages from Kodak Black, Justin Bieber, the restaurant, the Hwood Group and Revolve Group, and the City of Los Angeles, the City of West Hollywood, and Los Angeles County.
Kodak Black's lawyer, Bradford Cohen, has stated that he believes the case will be dismissed quickly due to the poor drafting of the complaint. Representatives for Justin Bieber have not yet responded to the claims. In related news, Kodak Black recently enrolled at Arizona State University after getting his GED while in jail.
